Artist Bio

Lori Ann Stephenson is an award-winning artist. Primarily self-taught and proficient in a variety of artistic mediums, she has over 45 years of professional experience.
Her patrons have commissioned fine art portraits and landscapes in oil and pastel, as well as up-cycled folk art furniture pieces, gemstone jewelry, and Indigenous arts and crafts.
Lori Ann is a member of the White Earth Reservation of Ojibwe in northwest Minnesota. She is a mother of two sons, a grandmother of two grandsons, and currently resides in Sedona Arizona.

TIMELINE:

2023 – Art Instructor at Enchantment Resort in Sedona Arizona.

2020 – 2022 – Dreamweaver Psychic Reader in Sedona Arizona.

2019 – Lori Ann painted a series of murals at Interdependence Natural Foods in Sedona Arizona.

2019 – Commissioned oil on canvas portrait of Bill and his best friend, for Pat and Ken Jackson of Scottsdale, Arizona.

2019 – Two commissioned portraits for Jennifer Herrin Fox of Indianapolis, Indiana.

2019 – Acrylic painting on canvas titled The Divine Feminine Goddess.  

2018 – Commissioned acrylic painting on canvas of Dosi Loverro’s personal spiritual vision. Cornville, Arizona.

2017 – Painted a 4′ x 5′ oil on canvas portrait of Jesus for The Golden Light Retreat Center in Sedona, Arizona.

2016 – Received an Honorable Mention for an acrylic painting Lilies of the Valley in the Light Space & Time Botanicals online Art Exhibit.

2015 – Traveled to Playa Vista California and painted three wall murals for the prestigious Ogilvy & Mather, one of the largest digital and marketing communications networks in the world.

The Clark Gallery located in the Mark C. Honeywell Center in Wabash Indiana is host to an annual art show, which over the years has presented Lori Ann with several awards in Drawing and Pastel.

Stephenson has also received ribbons from juried shows at the Heartland Artist Gallery in Plymouth Indiana and the Hoosier Art Salon Gallery in Wabash Indiana. Digital images of her artwork have been published in Branches Magazine in Indianapolis Indiana.

Lori Ann’s art has been included in exhibits at The Northern Indiana Pastel Society in the South Bend Museum of Art, The Artist Forum in Warsaw Indiana, the Avant-Guarde Gallery in Ft. Wayne Indiana, The Lakeland Art Association Gallery in Pierceton Indiana, and The Red Wing Arts Association in Redwing Minnesota.

It is through her artwork that Lori Ann hopes to share with others the inspiration she receives from nature’s balance and harmony, and life’s love and joy.
